Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman's independence march: 'Prime Minister Imran Khan will not resign', government talks committee clarified

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Government has made it clear that Prime Minister Imran Khan will not resign on the demand of the opposition.

Speaking to a press conference with the Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood, the head of the government negotiating committee on Saturday said that the resignation of the prime minister is impossible, the demand is to mount, on which the government will take action.

It should be noted that Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, has announced October 31st march to Islamabad, demanding the government resign.

Two major opposition parties, the PML-N and the Pakistan People's Party, have also announced their full support for the protest.

Pervez Khattak said at the press conference that the sit-in hurts the country.

However, the Defense Minister has defended against the previous government for 126 days of PTI before the House.

He suggested that if the opposition has any evidence of rigging in the general election, bring a record of fraud to the parliamentary committee set up for this purpose.

'Government serious in talks'

Pervez Khattak said that our intention is good, the Prime Minister has formed a committee with good intentions.

"We are negotiating because Pakistan could be harmed. We are also ready to go for a walk. "

They claimed that they were in touch with senior leaders of each party and we were getting good response.

However, in press conferences, he addressed the opposition several times, using words like restoration, action, and law enforcement.

When a journalist asked if there were threats in your press conference, Pervez Khattak's reply was 'Where did the threat go, I said the law will take its own course.'

Pervez Khattak said: "We have sent our message to everyone to come and sit at the table, hold talks, now they have the opposition." We are democratic people, whole processions have been witnessed all my life. We have also held talks in the container during our stay. '

They have requested the opposition to come and talk if there is an issue and if they do not, then at least we have done our duty.

He said that if they do not sit down, chaos will spread which will be held by the opposition.

Pervez Khattak expressed his concern and said the agenda seems to be something else. This is being done to suppress Kashmir.

'Not just PTI sitting, here is a system'

Asked about the government's strategy in the event of withdrawal of sit-in calls, Pervez Khattak said, "If they do not stop, then the government has to establish its writ."

Pervez Khattak said the country has not only PTI but a whole system which can come in motion to curb such protests.

Pervez Khattak also said that the government will take the same decision that does not bring deadlock in the country, the government has to make its own decision, establish its writ and the government is not only Imran Khan but the state.

He said that if anyone wants to break the system, then the answer will be the same. To date no of his demands have been presented in the assembly. We have held many talks in our sit-in.

The defense minister said that if we fail, then the consequences will be the responsibility of the opposition, what they offer us is what we are doing to them. If they think of themselves as democratic, then there is talk of democracy. Will go to every extent to save the country.

'Not to be armed'

Responding to a question, the Education Minister said that the National Action Plan against Terrorism also says that armed forces should not be held.

It may be recalled that a few days ago a video of a JUI-based security guard went viral in which Maulana Fazlur Rehman was taking security guard.

Shafqat Mahmood said he has seen some videos of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. In which they are attacking the 'institutions of stability of Pakistan'.

He suggested, 'Do not do this, do not say such things against Pakistani security agencies and will not tolerate them.'

Shafqat Mahmood also said that he, as the Minister of Education, was concerned that the madrassa's children would not be used for the sit-in.

"We are not going to let children's education be a problem. We are the protectors of children across Pakistan. ”

Defense Minister Pervez Khattak said that our committee is for dialogue only. If talks fail, then it will be the government and the interior ministry, and whatever happens, the opposition will be responsible.
