Rain torn by rain and storm during Ram Katha in Barmer, Rajasthan, 14 killed, dozens injured

Due to the sudden rains and storms caused by the fall of Pandal in the Barmer of Rajasthan, 14 people were killed and dozens were injured in the grip of it. It was reported that this incident happened in a school ground in Jasol of Barmer district, about 500 km away from Jaipur, where people gathered for Ram Katha. After the sudden rain, the tents fell and 14 people died due to the typhoon. The injured were taken to the hospital, where many people are in critical condition. Officials of the district administration have reached the place of the accident. Relief and rescue operations are going on. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot tweeted and expressed grief over the incident.


Tweeted on behalf of the Prime Minister's Office, "The incident of Rajasthan is unfortunate. My condolences are with the families of the victims and I wish the injured to get well soon.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot tweeted, "It is sad, unfortunate that the death of a large number of people in the accident due to the tents falling during the Ram Tath in Jasol, Barmer, to give peace to the departed souls of God There is a prayer of tolerating mournful kin. I wish for early recovery of the injured.
Ashok Gehlot said in a tweet and said, 'Local administration is doing relief and rescue work. The concerned officers have been instructed to investigate the incident, to ensure prompt treatment of the injured and to provide all possible help to the affected and their families.
COMMENTS

Rajasthan's Deputy CM Sachin Pilot also expressed condolences over the accident. Sachin Pilot tweeted, "The news of the death and injury of many people in the accident caused by the fall of Pandal in Balotra in Barmer district was tragic. I express deep condolences to the families of the dead and wish for early health benefits of the wounded. Instructions have been given to the administration for relief and rescue work.
